GRAND HALL / Aug. 14, 2021

Do you have a burning question about whiskey? Want to take your education to the next level or just sip some ultra rare bourbon? Then this Blind Bourbon VIP Tasting + Hang with Fred Minnick at Cox Business Convention Center on Saturday, August 14 is for you.

This isn’t some run-of-the-mill watering hole tasting. There will be blind folds and bourbon so good that you’d stand in line to buy. After you’ve received professional sensory training and learned about bourbon’s history, you will be sanctioned as an official taster for this taste off. In addition, Fred will ask for volunteers to join him on stage to wear a blind fold and smell objects without sight. You will analyze the bourbon in a blind flight and choose your favorite.

With the VIP Tasting, Fred will give the history and flavor importance of each of the rare whiskeys being tasted, including WhistlePig Boss Hog, Michter’s 20 year old, Pappy Van Winkle 23 year old and more. Plus, you get the inside scoop on the next big thing in bourbon.
