Cox Business Convention Center has a committee dedicated to staff volunteer efforts: ASM ACTS. Comprised of staff from ASM Global-Tulsa (CBCC and BOK Center), ASM ACTS contributes both donations and time to numerous community service organizations, as well as leading staff-wide initiatives and informing staff of local volunteer opportunities.
Over 85% of ASM Global-Tulsa staff participate throughout the year in a variety of community service events and fundraisers, and staff members may receive up to eight hours of paid volunteer time monthly to give back to Tulsa.
Keep an eye on Stories to find out what Tulsa area organizations ASM ACTS is helping right now, and reach out to Evon Markum to let staff know about volunteer opportunities within your group or organization at emarkum@asmtulsa.com.
Cox Business Convention Center is part of the world’s largest book-sharing movement! The venue has a Little Free Library in the Main Gallery and encourages guests to “take a book / share a book.” We’re also located next door to Tulsa City-Country Central Library.
Besides supporting local farms, Cox Business Convention Center regularly donates food to John 3:16 Mission and gave over 19,000 pounds of food to the Tulsa nonprofit in just one year. Both Executive Chef Devin Levine, CEC, and Executive Sous Chef Sarah Leavell donate their time and culinary skills to local fundraisers.
