SMG TULSA ROCKS! FOOD DONATIONS HELP SCHOOL CHILDREN DURING RECENT TEACHER WALKOUT AND COMMUNITY AT LARGE

The Cox Business Center kitchen crew donated over 19,000 pounds of food to the Tulsa community in 2017 through outreach efforts; that’s a lot of food! The crew also recently produced food for the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma used on food trucks operated by the food bank to feed Tulsa area students during the recent two-week long teacher walkout. The SMG Tulsa staff made grilled chicken pasta with roasted vegetable marinara, garlic bread, and brownies for the students. Just two more examples of why the SMG Tulsa staff committee on community outreach is called “SMG ROCKS” – way to rock, SMG Tulsa Food & Beverage department!
