March Events Roar Into Cox Business Center


(Tulsa, Okla.) March 1, 2017- Friday, March 3 brings Alzheimer’s Association “Memory Gala” to the Tulsa Ballroom from 6-11pm at Cox Business Center. Memory Gala is the Alzheimer’s Association’s annual gala celebrates the accomplishments and victories of those who support, volunteer and make strides against the disease. This year, “Memory Gala: Untold Stories” will honor the efforts of the past leadership team, and share the stories of how they have taken the Oklahoma Chapter into the national spotlight. March 4 – 5, JAMfest Tulsa Nationals fill Cox Business Center in Exhibit Halls B & C from 8am-9pm with over 9 different cheer and dance competitions. Tulsa CARES “Red Ribbon Gala” will be held Saturday, March 4 from 6:30-11pm in the Tulsa Ballroom. Tulsa CARES’ Mission: Delivering social services to people affected by HIV and AIDS. Oklahoma Business Professionals of America State Leadership Conference heads to Tulsa, Monday – Wednesday, March 6-8 in Exhibit Halls A, B & C, the Conference Hall, and the Assembly Hall of Cox Business Center. Business Professionals of America (BPA) is the leading Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) for students pursuing careers in business management, office administration, and information technology career fields. Part of the states Career Tech Program, Oklahoma BPA organization hosts the state competitive events each spring during the Oklahoma BPA State Leadership Conference. Star Power Talent Competition lands in Tulsa Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, March 10 – 12 from 8am-10pm in Exhibit Hall A at Cox Business Center. STARPOWER is entering its 30th Anniversary year in the in the world of dance competitions. In 2017 Starpower will continue to use its innovative Star Scoring Program with 3 levels of competition. Sesame Street Live “Elmo Makes Music” is coming to Tulsa March 18-19 at Cox Business Center! When the new music teacher’s instruments go missing, Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Big Bird, and more come to the rescue and discover instruments they never knew existed. Children learn that everyone can make and enjoy beautiful music together. Showtimes are Saturday, March 18 at 10:30am, 2:00pm, and 5:30pm and Sunday March 19 at 1:00pm, and 4:30pm. The 2017 Tulsa Fire Department Graduation will be held Friday, March 24 from 2- 4 pm in the Assembly Hall of Cox Business Center. Mental Health Association Oklahoma “Carnivale Tribale” heads back to Cox Business Center in the Tulsa Ballroom Saturday, March 25 from 6-11pm. “The best party in town,” as it is often called, is a lavish evening to revel in fine dining, lively dancing and plenty of surprises. The 2017 Oklahoma Fire Chiefs Association Conference will be held Tuesday – Friday, March 30 – 31 at Cox Business Center in Exhibit Halls A & B, Conference Halls A & B, and Ballroom B. The OSFA Annual Conference will feature speakers, Ray Driskell, Tulsa Fire Chief; G.T. Bynum, Mayor, City of Tulsa; and Shelley Young, OFCA Ladies Auxiliary President, as well as the newest in fire equipment and more.
