(Tulsa, Okla.) June 1, 2016 – Known as the smartest soiree in Tulsa, Brainiac Ball, benefiting Family and Children Services, combines brains and benevolence to change the lives of those in our community who need hope most. This year’s event on Saturday, June 4, at Cox Business Center will begin with cocktails, followed by dinner, team trivia and a live auction. Also included in the evening is a wine toss, jewelry raffle and eclectic dining auction. Prior to the event guests, along with the public, will have the chance to participate in a Best of Live raffle, where the winner chooses any live auction item from the block. The circus is coming to town June 5, with showtimes at 1pm and 4pm, with tickets starting at only $8.00. Garden Brothers Circus celebrates 100 years entertaining families throughout North America and they’ve “pulled out all the stops!” This year is your last chance to see elephants live! The circus also includes, “Motorcycle Madness”, with motorcycle daredevils somersaulting and spinning in a big Globe of Doom; Chinese Acrobats, the Human Slingshot, Racing Camels, and crazy comedy with Circus Clowns, daring aerialists, and cirque artists. Messengers and guests representing the churches of the American Baptist Association will gather together in Tulsa, Oklahoma the week of June 20-23 at Cox Business Center for the 91st Annual American Baptist Association 2016 Messenger Assembly. The national convention hosts 3,000 guests and will include worship, fellowship, practical workshops, and general business. They will focus together on the blessings of God and their mission. June 28, The Tulsa Regional Chamber will host Governor Mary Fallin for the annual State of the State Address to the Tulsa business community, offering insights and updates on the top issues facing our state this year.
