The Williams Route 66 Marathon Health and Fitness Expo will begin on Friday, Nov. 16, 2018, at the Cox Business Center in downtown Tulsa and continue on Saturday, Nov. 17. The two-day expo is free and open to the public, and packet pick-up for all participants and volunteers as well as exhibitors featuring running gear, shoes and fitness and sustainability-related items.
Friday, Nov. 16 – 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Saturday, Nov. 17 – 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The 2018 course starts at 5th and Main downtown, proceeds through Midtown and then runs north on Riverside Drive, taking participants past the Gathering Place – Tulsa’s new $465 million, 66.5-acre park.
“There’s no better way to get to know a city than by foot,” said Destiny Green, executive director of the Williams Route 66 Marathon. “Our race offers a 26.2-mile tour of Tulsa and takes our visiting participants to parts of our city that they might otherwise never have the chance to see. We can’t wait to show off the Gathering Place, and we know that the flatter course will be popular with runners.”
