(Tulsa, Okla.) October 1, 2016NUVO Dance Convention, will return to Tulsa and Cox Business Center, October 14 – 16. Entering its tenth year, NUVO Dance Convention brings a talented faculty and a convention that has been created with dancers in mind. Classes will feature all styles of dance, including Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, Lyrical, Hip-Hop, Musical Theatre, Jazz Funk, Tap & more! Celebrate a love of comic books and pop culture at the Wizard World Tulsa Comic Con, again, held at Cox Business Center, October 21 – 23. Wizard World is the country’s largest pop-culture touring expo. The weekend will be filled with celebrities from favorite movies, television shows and games as well as art, shopping, comic books, collectibles, cosplay, video games, and more. Special panels will allow attendees to participate in question and answer sessions with casts members of favorite shows and movies. 2016 Wizard World Tulsa Comic Con has scheduled a wide variety of celebrities including Sebastian Stan from the Captain America series, Ian Somerhalder from The Vampire Diaries, William Shatner from Star Trek, Kimberly J. Brown from Halloweentown, Josh McDermitt, Michael Rooker, and Michael Cudlitz from The Walking Dead, as well as Henry Winkler from Happy Days, James Marsters from Buffy the Vampire Slayer and more. Tulsa Run Expo will be held at Cox Business Center, Thursday, October, 27, 4 pm – 8 pm and Friday, October, 28, 8 am – 8 pm. Runners will receive their race packets, which include timing chip, shirt, and other crucial information. For more information, please visit Tulsa Run Expo
 
On October 27 the Sooner Tulsa Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation will host the 6th Annual Corks & Kegs at Cox Business Center. This Halloween-themed event is Tulsa’s premier wine and beer tasting gala. Over 400 guests will enjoy beers and wines from around the world paired with some of Tulsa’s finest restaurants. The evening will include live music by Banana Seat, an extensive silent and super silent auction, and a live auction with one-of-a-kind items. October 28, brings The Associated Builders and Contractors of Oklahoma Excellence in Construction Awards to Cox Business Center. Designed to recognize and publicize outstanding projects built by members of the association, ABC of Oklahoma Award winners are recognized each year at this local awards dinner and celebration.  All chapter winners are qualified to enter the ABC National Excellence in Construction awards program where the winning projects are honored at the association’s National Awards celebration.
